Trapped in millenary Conflict

Trapped in millenary Conflict ...the only way Hamas (Harakat al-Muqawama al-Islamiya) can get hold of Gaza as ruling elite is through spreading hatred and self-inflicting Israel sometimes irrational fury... speeches like the one made by the Exiled Hamas leader Khaled Meshaal, visiting Gaza Strip on Saturday December 8, 2012, where he vowed never to recognise Israel and clearly said his Islamist group would never abandon its claim to all Israeli territory (in zero sum game means either exists Palestine or Israel, no space for both in win-win approach of Fatah), serve the interests of Taliban’s from both sides to go back to 1967 bothers as starting point. Even worsen the fragile geopolitics of the always unstable region Middle East Region, in light of recent Arab Spring that scholars and politicians are still trying to grasp. To make matters worse, the recent conflict Israeli-Arab and the current tenue truce, revealed promotion of other players once considered terrorist to civilised world table of international negations. Because of Arab Spring projected Muslim Brotherhood into the power and the long reliance of US to Egypt as most important ally in the region, at least since Camp David Accords in 1978 to date, shows that maybe Mitt Romney was wrong when he mentioned the the fact that US navy as less ships than during the cold war, but president Obama was not right in his capability response, because with all submarines and aircraft carrier, they still need geographical well located ally such as Egypt, Turkey and Saudis in the Region. The complexity of todays world politics, have allies in vital geographic spaces is a key for global players. The reality of Arab Spring is visible today in the geopolitical map of that millenary region of Middle East by promoting Muslim Brotherhood into the power in Egypt and forcing US to accept that. Today, its early to project the agenda of this new players (Muslim Brotherhood), but a glimpse of light shown by President Morsi “pharaohnic” grip of power in Egypt, we can estimate that, unlike previous players such as Award Sadat, Hosni Mubarak, with Muslim Brotherhood is not friendly towards Israel and its not friend with US or EU either. This brings a huge geopolitical headache for Washington to handle and one could clearly see in the recent role in negotiating cease-fire and project a difficulty scenario for US, where they were forced to accept Muslim-Brotherhood hand in the negotiation. They even given way the success of announcing the truce to Morsi. ... to this complex interplay of events, is added the fact that speech may not necessarily targeted to Israel, but internal Palestinian power struggle. Today its clear even to Hamas that any long lasting solution for the millenary conflict between, Jews/Christian vs Arabs and Muslims, Israel vs Palestine cannot and will not be resolved without a formula close of that 1967 borders approach. Hamas, with all support from Iran and other adventurous and maybe grungy Arab Countries, will not be able to wipe Israel from the World map and they know they have to compromise. If that is the case, then there is a great chance that the speech was internal grungy towards demeaning the Fatah recent success to gain statehood at UN... “Who calls the shots” in Palestine? Who should we listen to in a situation of “one country, two systems and two detached geographical spaces (Gaza Strip and West Bank)”? Those who seek statehood through UN international Treaty System or those using Iranian missiles? By the way, Iran doesn’t need to develop long range missiles to destroy Israel, because they have Hamas at Israel backyards to deliver that... this said, the aim of Iranian (un)nuclear programme is global hegemony because of inability of Israel to target it without back support of US in total regional war... Whether Israel bombs Gaza or Jericho isn't it the same land, Palestine?... When Khaled Meshaal says “Palestine is ours from the river to the sea and from the south to the north. There will be no concession on an inch of the land,” what response he should expect from warmongers from Israel? The missiles may not strike back immediately, but more segregation measures against Palestinians be tightened, from withholding tax money by Israel Government all the way to increase the already high levels of peoples mutual suspicious environment and stigma that lead to denial of Palestinians to board Israeli buses or cross to work in Israel. For sure, the bombs will follow suit... ...to cut short my ignorance on the matter... just to say: I don’t know the answer to unwrap both Israelis and Palestinians people from this millenary trap. There is no easy answer, but I believe is out there.... do you?
